About Rose Sheppard

(The researcher formerly known as Rose Guttman)

I'm all about making products and programs work for people. I've worked in various industries including financial technology, software, and accessibility. Using my UX Research toolkit, I'm able to enter new settings and listen to the needs of all stakeholders and users to inform the teams that I work on. I love research and leaning more about what makes people tick, what makes different products and programs successful, and what's going to be the next big thing.

On another note, I’m very passionate about making products and programs accessible for everyone, especially people with disabilities. My experience learning American Sign Language and Deaf culture, working in University of Washington’s Inclusive Design Lab, and learning more from people with disabilities around me, has made me an advocate for accessibility in tech.
